“If push came to shove and Green Bay offered me an opportunity to extend my career as a Packer...count me in,” said Jacobs.

I'm sure he would.
He would have a virtually uncontested spot at starting running back. Brandon Jackson and Ryan Grant sure wouldn't beat him out.
Sounds like just small talk anyways. BJ is still under contract and it would take a healthy trade in the Giants favor to get it done.

ok, I'll say it first lol. Jacobs for Clay Mathews. of course the packers would never do that though.

It is still not the kind of talk a team focused player would make before a key game with a playoff berth at stake.

Don't be surprised if Jacobs is traded this offseason.

Jacobs is one of my favs but this definitely didn't need to be said. If you like the area, you like the area so be it but don't say you could see your self on another team when you are currently on this one.

-1 respect point for you Jacobs.

I wonder if Jacobs is trying to do a Shockey

1. This isn't a team focused attitude.

2. The timing is awefull, there is still a playoff chance.

3. It is disrespectful to the rest of his team mates.

4. It will be a distraction when this team needs to focus.

I can understand Jacobs says what he thinks, but please engage brain first!

This is a disappointing statement to be made in the midst of a season while playing for another team.

I know he was very disgruntled at the onset of the season when bradshaw was named the starter but this goes to show the immaturity and selfishness of Jacobs.

His is certainly an attitude the Giants can do without.
