RB, Martell Mallett spent a short time on the Browns practice squad as well as the eagles.
Mallet also played with the B.C. Lions and won CFL's most outstanding rookie of the year in 2009.

Last week the Giants signed a few players as well

The Giants have signed two more players to future/reserve contracts, joining the six Practice Squad players the Giants signed earlier this week. The two players are CB/Returner Joe Burnett and WR Todd Watkins.

Burnett was drafted in the 5th round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He made the team in 2009 but was waived shortly before the start of the 2010 season.

Watkins was drafted in the 7th round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. He has spent time with the Cardinals (2006 Practice Squad), Atlanta Falcons (2007 Practice Squad), and Oakland Raiders (2008-09). The Raiders cut him shortly before the 2010 season started.
