Giants team needs
Here is scout's inc's perception of the Giants team needs, let me know what you think
New York Giants
Top needs:
1. Offensive tackle: Current LT David Diehl is much more suited to move inside. If he does, it also would cost the Giants less money. That leaves aging Kareem McKenzie at RT, though, and Will Beatty at LT. Although Beatty has played both positions, nobody feels as if this OT position has any semblance of stability.
2. Outside linebacker: Mathias Kiwanuka is talented but is also a free agent coming off an injury. Keith Bulluck is a 12th-year warrior who is also a free agent, and Michael Boley is a decent production guy. Youth and athleticism are needed here with a player who can be a combo run stuffer and pass-rusher.
3. Inside linebacker: Jonathan Goff is a decent player who flashes his potential at times, but he doesn't seem to be a player who can take over this defense and run it like Antonio Pierce did. New York needs a player who is tough against the run and can get everybody lined up before the snap.
Other needs: DT, S, CB

Linebacker should be a bigger priority than offensive tackle right now.

I agree with you.
However I expect we will bring in at least one vet LB

OT shouldn't be on the list at all. Top 3 needs IMO in this order.
1. Inside LB
2. Center
3. Outside LB
I hate to keep repeating myself but center is much more of a priority than OT. Diehl, Beatty, Andrews, and Mckenzie are a lot better than what most teams have at that position. We are banged up at center and got old quick.

Re: Giants team needs
INDIANAPOLIS – Tom Coughlin isn’t one to give away draft or free-agency strategies.
So the fact he put a need on the table for all to see today is a testament to how blatantly obvious said need is.
“I’ll just say one – the center position is a concern,” Coughlin said during a session with reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine, “because we have injuries at that spot.”
The injuries of which Coughlin speaks are the ankle and foot problems for Shaun O’Hara, who has undergone one of two surgeries so far, and the recovery from a dislocated kneecap/torn patella tendon/ligament damage for Rich Seubert.
“I don’t think for a guy to be 31, 32 is necessarily (means that) he is too old to play the game,” Coughlin said of Seubert, who turns 32 next month. “Richie is making good progress. It is a very serious injury. If there is anybody who can overcome, it is going to be that guy. He is one tough guy.”
O’Hara, who will be 34 in June, is scheduled to earn $3.45 million this upcoming season. It remains to be seen if the Giants are willing to pay that price (or even a reduced rate) after he played in only six games this past season.
