Paul Posluszny, a free agent linebacker who played the last four seasons with the Buffalo Bills, views the Giants as an attractive team to sign with when the lockout concludes and free agency begins. Posluszny could help bolster a fluid Giants linebacking corps and has already played for Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell in Buffalo.
The answer came in an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio, and he was responding to a question that specifically asked if he think he'd fit with the Giants.
“Definitely, because of that connection," Posluszny said. "I love Coach Fewell and the type of defense that he ran when we were in Buffalo, you know, had a good relationship together. Actually I have an uncle that lives in the New York area and he just sent me a text the other day saying he’s read on the internet that the Giants is a possible spot for me. I mean, so yes, there’s a lot of interesting possibilities out there and the one thing about free agency, all players, I think, you want to know your true value."
Of course, it would be imprudent for Posluszny to say the Giants would not be a good fit. The Penn State product also said he'd like to return to the Bills, who will be in the second season of playing in a 3-4 defense. They previously played in the same 4-3 defense the Giants currently use under Fewell.
Much also depends on what the salary cap and free agency looks like when the CBA is settled. This much is certain: Posluszny is a name to watch once the Giants are allowed to talk to other players.
"You want to know how other teams value you and what they think of you, so that’s the interesting part of it," Posluszny said. "But, I mean, the Giants, along with several other teams, there are some interesting opportunities out there, that’s for sure.”

I know this is no surprise, but it is nice to hear something from Poslunzsy himself about interest in the Giants.
Previously he has only been saying he wants to stay in Buffalo (which is the right thing to say).
I do think he would absolutely love to go back to Fewell's 4-3 and play behind one of (if not the) best Dlines in the NFL as well play for a legitimate contender. This is a move that makes a lot of sense. Plus he has plenty of scope for additional income as well.
Free agents are not going to have the impact they usually do, they just wont have the time to learn new systems, teammates etc. But with Poslunzsy we could plug him straight in to Perry's system.
I do think he will either be a Giant or a Bill this year.
I think Poslunzsy is right near the top of Reese's free agency list

I agree Pete. Giants or Bills might be the top of his list. The Giants might be more interesting to him beacause of our base 4-3.

Playing behind our line, he isn't going to have to take on blockers quite as much.
Also lets not forget our Dline is much better than what he played behind in buffalo's 4-3 and our secondary is at least on par with their talented bunch.
If Pos does come here, it will primarily be because of Fewell.
