Giants sign QB David Carr
It might not have been the move Giants fans were hoping for, but the Giants finally signed a familiar face, former backup QB David Carr, who agreed to terms with the team on Sunday.
Carr, a former No. 1 overall pick in 2002, played for the Giants in 2008 and 2009. In those two seasons, he appeared in nine games total, completing 30 of 45 passes (66.7 percent) for 340 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Last season for San Francisco, Carr appeared in one game (Week 7 at Carolina) and completed 5 of 13 passes for 67 yards with one interception.
Carr, who tweeted the news to his followers, will compete with Sage Rosenfels for the number two spot behind starter Eli Manning. Rosenfels is due to make $3M this season.

I wonder what they will pay Carr?
3 million is too much for Rosenfels, which makes last year's trade for Sage and Reynaud even more silly since neither are likely to make the final roster this season.
