Not good, but at least Austin can get it sorted and get ready for a big next year.

But it will be 2 full years of meaningful football at that point that was missed. He'll be a rookie again next year.

Not quite as bad, he will still be in the Giants system and will have contact with Fewell, Nunn etc plus the medical staff and strength and conditioning coaches. He can still work on the mental aspect of the game.

He was always going to have a huge learning curve and was a developmental project.

He has really flashed which is good to see, but once he is right and recovers should rebound quite well next year imho.

No matter which way you try to spin it, he's still out 2 years of meaningful games.

For sure,

I happen to believe he will rebound, particularly with a full offseason program.

He wasn't expected to contribute too much this year as a raw developmental guy, but he certainly flashed at times this year already. I think he will be fine.

Isn't this the same injury Elvis DUmmerville had?

If we watch how he comes back this year it should be a good indicator as to how Marvin will recover.

Very sad. NFL careers are short enough as it is. Very physical game that wears on your body. Every year you've got fresher bodies more capable of getting the job done.
