Bout damn time! Greg Jones is out there slower than a turtle. Can't cover shit and getting blown up on every run play. Williams has proven to be a good nickle backer and blitzer but he has a lot of improving to do vs the run. Herz is the only true backer on roster. Its gonna be a huge benefit having him on the field knowing the position and knowing the defense.

Prince is about to make his debut as well. Should be a nice test for these highly touted rookies!

You're right though. Greg Jones hasn't exactly been doing much to help.

I suspect we will will see alot of J. Williams since Boley isn't 100%.

Also Vick is out so this is as easy it will ever get for these rookies facing the eagles. Although, Vince Young is no slouch against the Giants and he's also had all week to prepare for this game.

Herz played well. One play he had blown coverage on Celek that was obvious. Most other times he played well defending the run, blitzing, rolling into coverage. I was definitely pleased.

he definately showed more potential than Jones did. He did well
