My biggest surprise of 2008 so far (at the mid point) has to be the play of our safeties.

Phillips is a talented rookie and is progressing pretty much as expected.

Michael Johnson and James Butler have really stepped up (though they always had talent)

I have to pinch myself to think I can say Gibril "who"

Phillips can flat out play, the kid is gonna be a stud. Same with Blackburn, that kid has some motor.

Not a huge surprise but I'd say the way that our O-line continues to get better each and every week. The pass protection has been super so far.

Yea, they're finally getting the credit they deserved. I love it when analysts talk about how the "Giants' O-line has been a top group for the past few years" Well where were you and why didn't you say anything about it? Ha ha, experts...
