Carney wont be back for the Giants
I guess the Giants are content with Tynes for now. I don't know about anyone else but I don't think that Tynes is really an upgrade over Carney. Tynes' kickoffs may be a yard or two deeper but he's not as accurate as Carney was for us this season.
Carney wants to play a few more years but I guess it will be for a new team.

I think it is unlikely that Carney will be back; but by the same token I am not sure we will rely on Tynes
At Carney's age, he is a short term stop gap at best.
I wouldn't be surprised if we brought in a quality rookie with a big leg to develop behind Tynes and assume the kickoff duties
The guy I would keep an eye on is Graham Gano in the draft
with Alford and DeOssie filling the long snapper role, we do have the luxury of an additional roster spot that other teams have.
