Brandon Pettigrew is the best TE prospect by far and a mid first round value.

There are few teams with major need at TE, the landing spots are limited.

I am not sure the Bills pick him at #11 or #28 ( I think DE, OT and RB are much bigger needs for them)

Atlanta has traded for Gonzalez so doesnt need a TE

Philadelphia has only 1 1st round pick and will look at bigger needs (likely WR and RB)


there is a good chance that Pettigrew is there at #29

He is a very good allround TE; he isn't going to stretch the field ala Shockey or Gonzalez, but he does block like an offensive tackle and is a genuine weapon in the passing game.

If you want a wildcard option. there is talk that Pettigrew could even shift to LT. This is what Peters did and also what most premier LTs did at some point in college.

One option may be to package both our 2nd rounders to get into the back half of the 1st round so we can get Pettigrew and a WR
