here are my thoughts for Day 2

91: TE James Casey, Rice
Recieving TE in the mould of Gonzalez, will contribute early, could also play H-Back; complements Kevin Boss really well

100: WR Ramsees Barden, Cal Poly
Big, Physical WR with excellent tools, who gets deep and is a huge greenzone weapon. Barden and Nicks complement pur other WRs well

129: CB Kevin Barnes, Maryland
Solid hard hitting CB and quality special teamer

151: S Chris Clemons, Clemson
Very fast safety and stud special teamer

164: K/P Graham Gano, Florida St
Kicker and Punter with a very strong leg. His college coach considers him the team MVP for 2008

200: OC Rob Felix, UTEP
Intriguing C prospect with good tools

238: RB Herb Donaldson, Western Illinois
Big, Powerfull small school RB

positions I think we are still considering

WR - Another WR preferably another big target.

OC - Replace Ruegamer and develop for the future

TE - A recieving complement to Boss

RB - The Giants likely want 4 RBs, the 4th spot is wide open

CB - Solid with Ross, Webster, Thomas and Dockery, but there are likely 5 or 6 roster spots (depending on the CB:S ratio)

S - Solid with Phillips, Johnson and Brown, but there are likely 4 or 5 roster spots (depending on the CB:S ratio)

K/P - Depending on how things go. Feagles must be in his last year and Tynes is risky at best. Ideally this would be Graham Gano who can play both.

None of these are what I would call uregnt needs, but all are positions the Giants will at least want to upgrade depth and develop for the future.

Ramses Barden would be a nice pick if he falls in the giants lap at the right time.
A safety such as Clemons who is a good special teams player would be nice also.

I would like to see rb Shonn Green or te Jared Cook end up with us.

I am not sure about Cook, but there are plenty of good recieving TE options with Nelson, Cook, Casey, Beckham, Ingram and Coffman; if we go that way we will get good value

I like Green too; I just think the front office will look at RB a bit later and are quite comfortable with Jacobs, Bradsahw and Ware.

I think WR is a bigger priority

Ashe Allen is a good CB I like as well

the giants have shown it is all about value

If the Giants went with Casey, he can also play H-Back and has also played QB in the wildcat
