It is clear that the backup centre for the Giants is a problem

with that it mind I am looking at options either by trade or to pick up from roster cuts

Packers - Spitz is the starter; Scott Wells or Duke Preston could be available

Atlanta - McClure is the starter; Brett Romberg or Alex Stepanovich could be available

Arizona - Sendlein is the incumbent; Trevor Canfield or Ben Claxton could be available

Seattle - Max Unger is the new guy; Chris Spencer or Steve Vallos could be available

Cincinnati - Jonathan Luigs is likely the guy; Kyle Cook, Andrew Crummey or Dan Santucci could be available

Cleveland - Alex Mack is the guy; Hank Fraley or Dustin Fry could be available

Houston - Chris Myers is the likely starter; Antoine Caldwell or Chris White could be available

Jacksonville - Brad Meester is the starter; Drew Miller, Dennis Norman or Uche Nwaneri could be available

Denver - Ben Hamilton is the starter; Kory Litchensteiger or Blake Schuelter could be available

Kansas City - Rudy Niswanger is the incumbent; Eric Ghiaciuc or Wade Smith could be available

There are a couple of Guys whom I think would be worth trading for

for example Chris Spencer; he has been inconsistent so far, but has alot of experience. But the Seahawks have brought in Unger and have a rather lot of OC talent.

I would be willing to trade either a player (probably a WR such as Tyree) and/or a late round pick

Spencer also knows Eli from college center

I think that the Giants can find a reliable back-up center once other teams start making there roster cuts.

I still think the Giants are going to regret not trying to re-sign Grey Reugamer. He was a very decent versatile player to have on the o-line.

Agreed, and center is certainly not a position to mess around with, consistency and compatibility are key.
