Trade deadline option
I think that Reese is considering options for trades
The one glaring position to me seems to be safety, our coverage deep is poor
two guys I wouldn't mind making a play for are Michael Huff (Raiders) and Jarrad Page (Chiefs); but there are likely others as well
I know it would cost a draft pick, but we are pretty set at most positions
any thoughts?

According to Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network
Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson is available for trade if a team will make an offer, Johnson was a first round pick in the 2005 draft and is known for his speed.
Johnson is a guy who I think could be a good fit for the Giants, either at WLB or even MLB, particularly on passing downs.

After the secondary was scorched for 369 yards and four touchdown passes Sunday, Tom Coughlin didn't rule out changes to the unit. But that might have to wait.
"I sure would like to get our whole roster back," he said when asked about the possibility of moving a cornerback to safety (most likely physical player Terrell Thomas) to bolster the position. "That is not for me to say just yet."
The Giants essentially have two strong safeties playing in Michael Johnson and C.C. Brown and need a better coverage safety. CB Aaron Ross seems to be the guy Coughlin is waiting on to make that move (or at least mull it more seriously). But Ross has been out since training camp with a series of strains in his hamstring and Monday, when he wanted to run to test it, the doctors held him back. "I guess they didn't feel like I was ready," Ross said.
As for looking outside the organization for answers, Coughlin said the Giants keep track of players who are free agents or on practice squads, and they certainly are aware that the NFL trading deadline is Tuesday.
"At this point in time I don't have anything for you," he said.

It looks like we missed an opportunity to add a fast athletic LB to upgrade our defense
