Re: Giants Stat Track thru week 8
Offensively we seem to be reasonably on track
if you had said we would have a passing offense of 4000+ yds, 28 TD, 16 Int (on 532 att) + a rushing attack of 2300+yds, 14 TD (on 536 att); I think most of us would happily have taken that.
defensively we need a bit more pressure up front, we seem to be around 5 sacks (at the moment) less than where we should be.
I think it is all correctable and we will see improved performances over tha back half of the season

The Giant season needs a turnaround starting today.
Those numbers don't look bad at the end of the season but they do nothing for us in the win column unfortunately.
The Giants need to prove that they can beat a good team for their own psyche before going into the bye week.

the numbers were merely to point out the first half of the season hasn't been as terrible as some make out
We certainly do need to tuen it around, and I think we can.
Today will be a real test, particulary as teh chargers throw deep more than New Orleans, Arizona or Philly

actually I was somewhat encouraged by what happend last week.
we were alot more physical, was able to shut down their running game.
we do need to improve areas, but it certainly is a much better improvment than the previous 3 weeks.
we now have the bye week to sort things out. I think we will see a much better team on the field in 2 weeks
