Pete's bye week discussion Empty Pete's bye week discussion

The bye week is a pretty slow week, particularly with this team's performance this season.

I thought I would try and start some interesting discussion. As a starting point I will start with my current thoughts.

I want to remain optimistic, but we are entering a tough stretch. I do think we will ply better, but my gut feeling is that we go 4-3 or 3-4 over the back half the season. Which means we will miss out on the playoff and probably end up drafting somewhere around the middle of the draft

I still think we have an extremely good core of players and just need a little help to get it to the next level.

This is a good week to take off and get healthy.

We may get Aarron Ross back playing and that should be a big plus for the defense.

Also, It gives Boley and Canty a little more time to rehabilitate their injuries after last weeks game.

Aaron Rouse an extra week of learning the Giants system.

Bradshaw gets some extra rest with his nagging ankle injury.

I have a feeling that the giants playoff season is going to rely big on what happens with the rest of the division games. Particularly... Dallas and Philly.
