3 defensive line standouts
Matthias Kiwanuka
Kiwanuka started over Osi this week and he was awesome. He is getting good consistent pressure and is playing extremely physical flying all over the field at 100%
The bottom line is that Kiwi is our best defensive lineman at the moment
Barry Cofield
Cofield has been our best interior defensive lineman all season and did it again this week. Cofield moved to Fred Robbins' penetrating DT spot and did really well.ion and did he look good. Cofield is quick, athletic and strong. He could become a legitimate disruptive force inside that Robbins used to be.
Chris Canty
Canty took over Cofield's contain spot at weak side defensive tackle, and Canty seems to br the key to this
defense's playoff run. He is extremely tough against the run as he has the wingspan to fend off multiple blockers,
the strength to stand up against the double-team, and the athleticism to pursue.
Canty is not a big sack guy, but he's certainly is a stud run stopper. Canty may become the kind of DT we have not had since Keith Hamilton. The run defense held Dallas to 45 yds this week (251yds) the first time these two teams met; Canty was a major factor.

How did you think the Giants' new starters played?
Mosley (12:04 PM)
Thought Goff made some mistakes, but was very athletic and active. They all struggled against Witten, but that's not a huge surprise. I like how active Goff was against the run. And I'm loving how Sintim's starting to show up. Nice player right there. Kiwanuka's the same guy he's always been. Steady guy.

And let's give the Giants credit. Barry Cofield owned the line of scrimmage the other day.

Re: 3 defensive line standouts
Cofield made a big impact last Sunday. Something I've really been waiting to see for a while from him.
