An offensive line shake-up may happen Empty An offensive line shake-up may happen

According to Jerry Reese, it may be time to make some moves along the offensive line.

“We think Beatty has a left-tackle skill set. He played quite a bit for us and did a pretty good job in there for a young player. There will be some competition at that left tackle spot for us. … He showed he has a toughness to play that spot. He has the athletic skill set to play that spot, so it’ll be interesting to see how that unfolds.”
Now if moving Beatty to a left tackle starting position is the direction the giants decide to go in then what does this mean for Seubert or Mckenzie?
It's fairly obvious that Diehl would be taking over one of those two player's spots.

If they put Diehl in at left guard then it is possible to keep Seubert around. Seubert is still a decent player with a moderate price tag.

If it is right tackle that Diehl goes to then this is a pretty good sign that Mckenzie would be cut. There's just no way that the giants continue to pay Mckenzie big time money for a back-up role.

We are in a position here to continue to have a good line and improve our team elsewhere. I think Seubert and McKenzie are still good players. And there would definitely be teams interested in both.

If Beatty jumps into starting LT then Whimper can become the backup swing tackle and Boothe the first in at G. Although if Im a team im stealin Boothe for that 6th. He's a good player.

Agreed we have good depth

We may upgrade in the draft, but it isn't a priority
