Once again no huge surprise

Another potential pick. I like Chad Jones, I like the defense he came from even more and really feel he should have stayed another year. But he'll get plenty enough time to develop here. He also did some punt returning.

This pick will mean the end of Michael Johnson imo. I think Johnson will be a late roster cut. He was exposed and completely flopped last season.

I must admit being a little surprised seeing a safety drafted at this spot but not sure who was on the board that would have fit the team any better.

The first thing to remember is that Chad Jones has plenty of talent and abilty, but he will take time to develop

Johnson is good depth, it is uncertain just how well Phillips will return from injury and Grant is 31.
Fewelln likes to feature safeties and will use alot of s safety packages.

This pick does put pressure on Johnson, but I think we carry 5 safeties into the season.

Jones is like the other two picks, building for the future. They will work their way in to the rotations, but their real impoact will be down the track.

Drafting Pierre-Paul, Joseph and Jones isn't that unlike when we drafted guys like Osi Umenyiora, Will Peterson, Visanthe Shiancoe, Kevin Boss, Brandon Jacobs and Ramsees Barden.

I agree td I think this is the end of michael Johnson as well. Donald butler was still on the board. I felt he would have really made our draft much better. Then we could have made a move for stuckey in round 4.
