New Meadowlands Stadium to host 2014 Superbowl

What's your thoughts on this?
Good idea, bad idea?

I kind of like it from a football playing point of view.

The best team should win no matter the climate. For at least one year we will see a superbowl played not just for the pretty boys of the league. I can't wait, and I hope it snows.

Same here. I hope it's a nasty day and the Giants are in it.

It's about time. The NFL shouldn't cater to these athletes that play in a dome more than what they do already. Last year, I think the Saints and Colts had more than 11 indoor games and the Giants had 3 I think. I want to see more Qbs playing against the elements and see how they good they really are. The best game should be played in any weather, not a controlled environment.

I agree, I had a general talk about this with my father in law a few days ago.
Football was made to be played outdoor in the elements. I believe the nfl is losing a lot of the old timers interest in the game and this is just one reason why. It's become a game of two hand touch.

btw, welcome to the site
