Antonio Pierce retires Empty Antonio Pierce retires

Antonio Pierce has officially retired and reportedly joined ESPN

It is quite obvious that despite his willingness to play on, and teams interest in him, his injury problem was much more serious as many Giants fans expected.

It is also nice that his last NFL game was in a Giants uniform and he retired as a Giant.

Antonio was a quality Giant and I wish him all the best in his new career.

yes, he was a very good player and leader on the field.
It's a shame his career had to end due to injury. Good luck AP in the future.

One of my favorite Giants, its sad to see him go, but at least we'll be able to see him on ESPN.

I think he'll be very good too. He reads an offense well and obviously knows defensive schemes like the back of his hand. His analysis should be worth while. In other words, not another Merril Hoge who squints to read cue cards.

Trey Wingo interviewed him on NFL Live the other day and did the airhorn thing to him, hysterical.

Its hard to be worse, haha. It was a quick interview, but I think he'll be solid.
