Super Bowl 35 was pretty bad, but it was obvious early on in the game that the Ravens were going to win.Scout200 wrote:What's the biggest, most painful loss that the Giants endured?

The playoff loses to the 49ers (2003?) and the Vikings (1997), where we lost a lead where pretty heartbreaking. Especially the 49ers one, the Giants were looking great down the stretch before shitting the bed at the end of that game.

I have to agree with Hampton, the superbowl v the Ravens
it was coming off the record win vs Minnesota, and we weren't really in the game.
I was actually in the states at the time too (San Diego) so I was really excited.

Yea, after destroying the Vikings, I didn't expect the game to be too close, and did not think at all that the Giants would lose.Big_Pete wrote:I have to agree with Hampton, the superbowl v the Ravens

I'd have to say the playoff loss to the 49ers.
I mean that was just embarassing. I can still remember Strahan pointing to the scoreboard stating that the Giants were still winning. And then it all fell apart very badly.
The superbowl loss was heartbreaking but quite honestly I knew it would take an unlikely miracle to win that sb with Kerry Collins under center against that defense.
