Offense

Good to see Eli go a game without any INT's. His receivers stepped up for him and made some plays. Eli also took some shots but showed his ironman toughness by getting right back up and moving on.

Cruz flashed some rac (run after catch) skills, much like he did in preseason against the Jets two years ago. He did have a drop but should get more comfortable the more he plays.

Bradshaw showed great toughness and displayed excellent ball security.

McKenzie and Beatty need to step up their game a little more. Although, they were going up against two very good defensive ends.

It's probably time to put the Travis Beckum experiment to a rest. Let's get our other receivers more involved in his place.

Defense

Jaquain Williams. This guy was everywhere on the field. He looks fast and led the team with 9 solo tackles. He looked good last week and even better this week.

Michael Boley is finally playing like we all hoped he would. I like how he played a bunch of plays in the middle while JW was playing Boley's natural position on the outside.
These two are going to wreck havoc this season imo.

I wasn't buying into the Kenny Phillips hype until these past few games. He just hadn't showed enough up till then. I'm becoming a believer now.

Ross. This is why you were a first round pick. Great game! It's about time. Let's put a string of a few games together before I'm buying into it though.

Pierre Paul is for real. When Osi makes it back there will be nobody that wants to face this defense.

Great pressure on Vick all day. Although Vick made some plays, he was still hurried and hit a ton. I never like to see a player get injured but he asked for it by saying that the Giants didn't want to face him earlier in the week.
A smart QB never puts up bulletin board material.

Lastly, I tip my hat to Kevin Gilbride. He called a great game that was not so easy to predict as usual.

Keep the fire going against the Cardinals next week Giants!

I agree with a lot of that. Although the wide 9 makes it difficult on tackles and I felt we did fairly well for our first time really seeing it.

I disagree with the Beckum comment only because this was his first game back and first of the season. He should get at least 4 or 5 games in my eyes.

Again Kiwi really struggles if he isn't moving forward. Struggles in space whether its against the run or pass.

When Osi comes back our front should be a terror. Although I'd prefer we trade him for a real backer and get Kiwi back to DE.

I can't blame Kiwi for struggling, he's been a DE for 5 years now and then we ask him to switch to OLB, a position he isn't familiar with.

I like what I'm seeing with Cruz. I want to see more from Greg Jones. I still think a FA LB would be ideal.

Aaron Ross is looking like the guy from 2007, hope he continues to improve. Our defense is slowly improving, guys are playing better and getting healthy. Prince should bolster our secondary in a few weeks.

I agree with Pete about Beatty, McKenzie is not longer in his prime but is still a good RT. Beatty needs to step up, some plays he does great but other plays the DE blows by him. Things will only get tougher for him, he has yet to play against DeMarcus Ware and Clay Matthews.

Overall solid game, we have to continue improving. I expect nothing less from us next week.
