A fine win over the Jets
While not a perfectly played game, it was at least nice to see the Giants put Rex's big mouth to rest.
Yes the Giants are the big brother and even with a Giants loss this would have remained the same.
It was good to see the running game get going again after a stagnant first half of the season.
Jacobs is running with power and not getting tripped up at the line as much as he has in the past.
Bradshaw still has the power to get the job done but it looked to me in this game that his cutbacks are a little slower than usual.
Eli had a decent game despite only completeing 9 passes.
Nicks and Cruz still need to start making the easy catches more routine.
Great 99 yard play by Cruz to keep the Giants playoff hopes alive.
The defense stepped up and made some big time plays when they needed to the most. Big improvements from everyone.
However parts of the Giants run defense still leave much to be desired.
Not so much on the outside but mainly in the middle.
It is good however to see the front four contain the run lanes for the most part.
But the Giants could use some more muscle and a downhill linebacker to clog it up better.
A much needed win for now but the Giants playoffs start next week at home against Dallas.
Merry Christmas everyone

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too!
The friday before the game I got a call from a friend about an extra ticket and jumped on it. Hadn't bee to a game in a couple of years. And what a game to see, haha. I do not dislike the Jets, but I can't stand their fans.

Thats awesome you got a chance and went to the game.
You must have been pumped up for it. I heard there were a lot of other Giants fans there too.

There were a lot. Especially in my immediate section. I'd say maybe 20% total. And at the end, about 90% haha56 Crazed Dogs wrote:Thats awesome you got a chance and went to the game.
