I have put some thought into the Giants compensation picks for 2009

It is no set formula, but seems based on the net free agency loss/additions, the size of the contract, players age etc.

Last year we got a 6th round compensation pick for Visanthe Shiancoe

This year I think we will do a little better

I don't expect Knight or Clark to be much of a factor; they were pretty much discards from other teams and are not young.

With all that in mind, here are the picks that I am expecting the Giants will get

3rd round for Gibril Wilson
5th round for Kawika Mitchell
6th round for Reggie Torbor

any thoughts?
