After next sunday's KC game, 1/4 of the season will be in the books and it will be a good point to evaluate the season so far

I am very curious on everyone's thoughts on how the team is travelling at the moment and how the various aspects of the team compare to your offseason and preseason thoughts and expectations.

What are you thoughts on the team so far this year? any suprises or disappointments? hw do you expect the team to shape up over the rest of the season?

For example, the aspect of the team that I really like so far is our depth and talent. Whoever steps on the field has genuine ability and can step up and get the job done.

I really like the fact that a superstar like Osi can be relegated to a largely 3rd down/ pass rushing role in favour of Tollefsen and it isn't a huge story. The guys just get things done and are focussed on the success of the team.

Our coaches do generally do a good job of putting our guys in a position to win the game; even Gilbride and the playcalling is alot better this week.

This group is exceptionally hard working and team focussed; but they are also are developing that determined edge/mean streak/battletested/fighting spirit that was a big part of our success in SB42. It is early days yet, but I can see similar attitudes starting to develop.; for me at least that is what NY Giants football is all about.
