Kind of figured Gartrell would be part of a numbers game but am still dissapointed.

If Danny Ware sticks, he is only one more concussion away from likely missing most of the season.

And Gartrell looks much further polished than Andre Brown.

A lot of surprise cuts here. Bomar, Alford, Hagan etc...

presumably they are bringing in another TE

slightly surprised that Alford and Whimper were cut, but it isn't a shock.

I have some issues with the roster balance

We only have two tight ends, one of which is more of a H-back and has had injury problems (hopefully in the past) and we have kept eight linebackers.

I don't believe the Giants want to go into the season without a blocking TE.
