Assuming you mean no rookies.
1. Jason Pierre-Paul
2. Kenny Phillips
3. Linval Joseph
Some 2nd year players if given the chance.
1.Victor Cruz
2. Adrian Tracy
Rookies who might make an instant impact.
1. Jerrel Jernigan, special teams
2. Marvin Austin, probably not a lot of snaps given though

Re: yor top 3 breakout players in 2011
lol @ you starting the topic saying list your top 3 breakout players but then you go off and list 7. Couldn't pick just 3 Pete? Ha.
I like Linval Joseph but he isn't at an impact position especially being behind Canty.
JPP may have a few sacks but how much can he actually breakout being the 4th DE assuming we don't suffer any injuries and Kiwi returns.
My Top 3:
3. I'd like to put Ramses Barden in my top 3 because it seems Steve Smith may not be ready for the start of the season. Usually WRs breakout their 3rd year and Eli likes big targets. We have so many weapons though so it will be tough. Its about time he gets plenty of redzone looks.
2. SLEEPER PICK: Mitch Petrus. If Seubert can't go or needs to move to center because O'Hara can't go everyone wants to move Diehl down to LG and start Will Beatty. Problem with that is we lose our back up swing tackle. I much rather Petrus step up this year and fill the gap. Boothe is probably gone in FA and Andrews is uncertain to stick around. If Petrus steps up at LG this year, next year when McKenzie hits FA we know we can move Diehl to RT and start Beatty at LT then Brewer becomes the backup swing tackle.
1. Clint Sintim would be someone I'm hoping breaks out because we need him too. There is no backup plan right now at SLB.

1 - Kenny Phillips. Seems overdue after being held down a year off his knee surgery.
2 - Mario Manningham. Looks like everyone will be focused on Nicks, but he's the most sure option we have since Smith may not be full strength or as productive.
3 - Linval Joseph. SO much upside and he may work out if Cofield really does leave.

I agree Zay. Mario Manningham will have to perform well this season.
Not that he played badly last year, he just has to take it to another level.
