That's not an easy schedule at all. I guess the raiders and Chiefs may be but the rest will all be tough match-ups.

I think next year will be easier than this year
our 2008 schedule based off 2007 performance
Washington (9-7-0)
St. Louis (3-13-0)
Cincinnati (7-9-0)
Seattle (10-6-0)
Cleveland (10-6-0)
San Francisco (5-11-0)
Pittsburgh (10-6-0)
Dallas (13-3-0)
Philadelphia (8-8-0)
Baltimore (5-11-0)
Arizona (8-8-0)
Washington (9-7-0)
Philadelphia (8-8-0)
Dallas (13-3-0)
Carolina (7-9-0)
Minnesota (8-8-0)
going by last years recored our 2008 opponents had a combined 2007 record of 133-123-0
2009
Cowboys (9-7-0)
Eagles (9-6-1)
Redskins (8-8-0)
Falcons (11-5-0)
Panthers (12-4-0)
Cardinals (9-7-0)
Raiders (5-11-0)
Chargers (8-8-0)
Cowboys (9-7-0)
Eagles (9-6-1)
Redskins (8-8-0)
Saints (8-8-0)
Buccaneers (9-7-0)
Vikings (10-6-0)
Broncos (8-8-0)
Chiefs (2-14-0)
going by this years recored our 2009 opponents had a combined 2007 record of 134-120-2
so the schedule is slightly harder; plus we have 2 west coast games.
but in the end what matters is how the teams all shape up next year. Regardless the Giants will be ready for the challenge.
Personally I dont mind tougher schedules, it means we have to earn every game and cannot take any game for granted; plus at the end of it our team is battle hardened

Re: Giants 2009 opponents
interesting schedule, i think the 2009 thursday night opener will be Giants vs. Chargers could be a superbowl rematch. San Diego seems to get under Peytons skin, i think Pittsburgh is a bit a of a fraud and i don't trust Tennesee. We could also have a NFC championship game rematch against Carolina or Atlanta and play four of our former coordinators if Spags goes to Denver and Gilbride goes to Oakland then we have Fox and Payton also, interesting.
