Umenyiora's job in jeopardy?

With a demotion to the second team coming down during the week prior to one of the most crucial games of the season, it's obvious that Osi Umenyiora is not being viewed in a very positive light by the New York Giants coaches. He's being lifted from the starting lineup in favor of Mathias Kiwanuka, and will see much less action.
So what does the demotion mean for his long-term future? Umenyiora is on the books for $2.55 million this season, but that number jumps to $3.1 million next season, $3.125 million in 2011 and $3.975 million in 2012. Those are big numbers for a backup, and Osi could be put on the trading block once the season is over to try and rejuvenate his career elsewhere.

It makes alot of sense in my opinion to Trade Osi
He is not stout against the run and we have Kiwanuka ready to start full time.
Osi has the speed, I think he could excell as a 3-4 rush OLB
I think we could get a 1st round pick for Osi (in not a 2nd), he is young, experienced, fast and a proven playmaker.
There will be alot of teams lining up for Osi.
We would need to address DE at some point in the draft, but that may be the plan anyways.
