Still sucks but can finally talk about it
Wish I had a nickel for everytime someone came up throughout the week and asked "What happened to the Giants the other day" A relaxing vacation on a sunny resort is where I'd be typing this from.
Last Sunday's Giants-Eagles game was as frustrating as any game will ever become for both fans and the players.
It's been said by many fans all year that Matt Dodge would cost this team at least one game so it shouldn't come as such a surprise when he didn't punt the ball out of bounds, but instead to Desean Jackson at the end for a game winning TD.
Special Teams coaching needed to step up and get the right personel out on the field. The onside kick was perfect timing. Shame on the Giants for not being ready for anything to happen there.
Mario Manningham carried the football out of bounds much like Plaxico Burress showed for his years with the Giants. Surprisingly, I never recall a Plax fumble quite like that but always thought it was just a matter of time.
Receivers coaches, let's get on these guys for their drops and fumbles.
Despite the Giants failures for 3 1/2 quarters. Let's not forget how the Giants came out of the gate swinging and had a 31-10 lead midway through the 3rd quarter.
To coaches and players:
Keep coaching/playing the same way for the whole game. If it's working, don't try to change it.

Agreed. Especially with the last statement. Our entire defensive game plan changed near the start of the 4 quarter.

That's what ticked me off the most Vin.
If the Giants stayed agressive, this game could have been won.
It was almost like visions of Tim Lewis dancing through my head. Hate to say that because I like what Fewell has done for most of the year.
