The injury to Sintim gives a good shot for 4 rookie LBs on the roster, all have flashed and have certainly done well on special teams.

This is how our LB group shapes up imho

SLB: Mathias Kiwanuka, Mark Herzlich

MLB: Jon Goff, Greg Jones

WLB: Michael Boley, Spencer Paysinger, Jacquain Williams

I am pretty excited about this group to be honest, decent starters but lots of potential and special teams behind them.

Yeah, I like it too. A lot of athleticism and potential with them players.

Lance Briggs wants a trade, he could be an option if the rookies don't pan out.

A Briggs trade isn't likely to happen, firstly he like Osi has no bargaining power, and he will want a big contract (ironically he is on similar money to Osi).

Plus we have Kiwanuka doing the job at SLB.

The big thing with Herzlich, Jones and Paysinger is that they are all true LBs, not the DE hybrids and all are very instinctive..

Williams may have the best physical tools of the bunch, and he has shown flashes but he will take some time to develop (like JPP).

These four will be very key to an improved performance on our special teams units.
