6 Giants going to pro bowl
http://njmg.typepad.com/trueblue/2008/12/six-giants-to-pro-bowl.html
Six Giants, including QB Eli Manning, have been named to the NFC Pro Bowl team for the 2008 season. Last year they had just one representative, DE Osi Umenyiora, which shows you the power of the year-after in the voting.
In addition to Manning those headed to Hawaii in February are C Shaun O’Hara, G Chris Snee, DE Justin Tuck, PK John Carney and P Jeff Feagles. Snee and Tuck were named starters, O'Hara and Manning reserves.
That means the oldest player in the league (Carney) and the second oldest (Feagles) will be able to rest their weary bones on the beaches around Honolulu. Carney's 14 years between Pro Bowls (1995 with San Diego was his last visit) is the longest ever, Feagles' 13-year layover (1996 with Arizona) is the second longest ever.
Seven Giants were selecte as alternates. TE Kevin Boss, LB Antonio Pierce, FB Madison Hedgecock and special teamer Chase Blackburn are first alternates; DT Fred Robbins is second alternate; OT David Diehl and RB Brandon Jacobs are third alternates.

they are well deserved
it is interesting that Manning is copping some flak, but he has lead the team to a great year even though he doesn't have the flashy stats
