Wilkinson headed to IR?

With 7 games (+bye week) left and with Gerris being out 6-8 weeks, it makes alot of sense to me to shut him down for the year.
I would like to see Vince Anderson or Shareff Rashaad activated from our practice squad or maybe some guy from another P/S - lets see what they can do

Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News, reports New York Giants LB Gerris Wilkinson (wrist) dislocated his right wrist during the team's Week 9 game, and his season could be over. He underwent surgery Monday, Nov. 9, and the team said the "normal recovery time for the surgery is six to eight weeks."
With 7 games (+bye week) left and with Gerris being out 6-8 weeks, it makes alot of sense to me to shut him down for the year.

We signed rookie CB DJ Johnson (Jackson st) off the Broncos Practice Squad

This is a good signing since we play the broncos in a couple weeks. I'm sure he can provide a little inside info to the broncos schemes.
Hopefuly he's more than just a fly on the wall, and can bring some much needed depth at free safety too.
