New England Patriots restricted free-agent OG Logan Mankins is not planning on signing his tender offer and would like to be traded, according to ESPNBoston.com's Mike Reiss. "At this point, I'm pretty frustrated, from everything that's happened and the way negotiations have gone. I want to be traded. I don't need to be here any more," Mankins said. Mankins does not plan on attending the team's mandatory minicamp this week.

This is hypothetical, but should Reese make an offer?

On the surface, we have a need to upgrade left guard. (Guy Whimper is currently taking 1st team reps)

On the flip side, Makins wants a top shelf deal (and deserves it)

The giants do have players that could be included in a potential trade at positions the Pats need, such as WR, and plenty of good young talent.

For example, if we could go a deal such as Logan Makins for Hixon/Moss and a 2011 2nd round pick, would you make the deal?
